What is Tenured Fan?

Who: Two brothers who have been in the stands since the '80s. Tenured Fan is an independent fan brand, built by fans, for fans. No school runs it or sponsors it.
What: Merch that celebrates how long you've stuck with your team, and a free roster of fans, kept school by school. Tell us your school and your first season and you're on it. You get a roster card with your name and your years on it, made on the spot, to save and post. And you stay in the know: you're the first to hear about merch drops, player signings and special events. Every month, fans on the roster win free gear, at every school. We ask for your years, not your wallet.
When: Now, and no school has to sign off first. Every school's roster is open today, and everyone who joins now is a founder. When enough fans from a school are on it, we take it to the school: officially licensed gear, Tenured Fan Zones on game day, and more. That's the full Tenured Fan experience.
Where: Here, for every college team. The roster is online, so it counts the fan three states away the same as the fan down the street.
Why: Players have NIL. Fans have Tenured Fan. The most loyal fans in college sports have never had the spotlight. Now they do, by name and by years.

The Search

The search for the most tenured fan at every school.

Somewhere there's a fan who's been there longer than anyone. Know who it is? Nominate them. Think it's you? Enter yourself. Free, and it takes two minutes.

The jacket One of a kind, made for the winner: a varsity jacket with their name, their first season, their years and the title Most Tenured Fan on it. There will never be another.

How it works

Founders hold their place.

Every fan who joins while their school's founding roster is open is a founder. Founders are listed longest-tenured first, and they keep that place for good.

Join the roster
School, first season, email. Free. You're on your school's founding roster.
Years set the order
Longest-tenured first. Same first season? Whoever joined first.
The founding roster closes
It stays open until Tenured Fan and the school make it official. That day it closes, and every founder's place is set for good.
Then it's first come
After that, new fans join in order of arrival. Nobody who joins later passes a founder.

For example

A fan since 1978 joins today. A fan since 1970 joins next month. Both are founders, so the 1970 fan is listed first.

Making it official is each school's call, and some may never do it. Your place still counts for every drop, signing, event and giveaway Tenured Fan runs.

Your first season is on your honor. The most tenured fans at every school get checked against something with a date on it. A ticket stub, a photo, a yearbook.

Staying Day. Once a year.

New year, same team. Every January 1, every fan on the roster posts two words.

Then your count goes up a year.
